Now that all the gaps and panels are sorted I have removed light fittings and chrome and can start the preparation and blocking down of all the panels.
Door alignment is good and they open and close very easily and smoothly.
Time spent getting the surface smooth and free of blemishes will pay off, now is the time to get it all right, once its painted its a bit late. it just become a lot more work and money to get right.
Boot alignment is as good as factory.
Bottom valance panels are always tricky to get square as there are no real adjustments. If I have still enough time I may try to work on this edge a bit more.
Finally all blocked down and ready to go to the painters
My arms are ready to drop off after so much wet and dry sanding then more spray filler then more sanding.
What a work out.
I have applied a guide coat to ensure that all is straight before the final colour and clear coats are applied professionally.
I decided to get a professional painter to apply the final coats because of the poisons in the paint and also the paint booth will produce a better dust free coat.
